How the Discord server ranking works
Votes, ranking periods and fair server sorting in the dis.ad monitor.
Votes and rank
A signed-in user can support a server with a vote. Votes count for the current period, with a cooldown that prevents one account from rapidly manipulating the ranking.
Ranking periods
Rankings reset twice a month for the first and second half of each month. Position appears as a separate card badge and is not part of the server name.
Other sorting options
You can also sort by popularity, online users, members, voice activity, fast growth and newest servers. This helps small but active communities get discovered without buying a position.
